Do you enjoy working with children? Would you like a career in early years care and education? Come to study in North Connaught College as you will receive training in all practical, social and legal aspects of the profession. As part of this course you will undertake placement in a range of childcare settings. In line with requirements of legislation and the ECCE scheme you will be qualified to work in any ECCE setting in Ireland.
Well to be honest, the thought of considering going back to education was for me a daunting task. But from the start, the initial process of meeting Laura at the interview for the security studies course, to the induction days in September, it just felt like a breath of fresh air.
North Connaught College made me realise my potentials after going there to upskill, having been out of education for some time.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in NCC, making great friends whilst gaining a solid academic foundation in my journey towards Third Level. The teachers and support staff are really friendly, supportive, encouraging, and were with me every step of the way until I gained my qualification in Healthcare Level 5.
Diploma in Laser and IPL Treatments commencing in September 2019. Become a qualified laser technician and bridge the gap from beauty to aesthetics. This is a part-time course, one day a week.
