James Hardiman – Principal

James works with a commitment to give opportunities to other people through providing a quality, friendly and supportive atmosphere at North Connaught College where each individual can achieve change in their life through life-long learning.

James qualified in maths and geography having studied in both Ireland and the UK. He entered the teaching profession initially before branching out and setting up his own business in Outdoor Education in North Mayo. During this time he also qualified with a Masters in Environmental Science. James re-entered the teaching profession at St. Mary’s College in the early 2000’s where he also held the position of Deputy Principal for ten years.
