ELC Stage 1 Certificate Early Learning and Care

I recently finished the first stage of my early learning and care program at North Connaught College in Tubbercurry. It’s a two-year program that culminates with a level 6 award. Being able to finish this course so close to home is a fantastic opportunity. The course was excellent and covered all aspects of childcare. In order to experience the work environment in this industry, it also offered work experience once a week for the entire year. I finished this job at the wonderful Sandcastles Childcare Center in Enniscrone, where I was made to feel very welcome and picked up a lot of knowledge.
