Equine Studies

As a past student at the North Connaught College Horsemanship course, I thoroughly enjoyed my time doing this course.  Each lecturer felt passionately about their course work, from Communications and IT to Equine theory, lecturers were always there to help students with any questions.  I learned so much in my communication module, like reviewing, organising events, how meetings should be structured and much more. I have never been a technical person, but I learned loads in our IT classes that I would never have figured out otherwise. Equine theory was my favourite module as we learned about everything from the horse’s skeleton and muscles to how to correctly and safely plan and teach riding lessons. I would happily repeat my time in NCC given the chance.
