ELC Stage 2 Advanced Certificate Early Learning & Care

I completed my Stage 2 childcare with North Connaught College in Tubbercurry. I really enjoyed my last 2 years here in the college it’s a very warm and welcoming place to be and there is excellent help available to everyone. However, this course is tough and does take time out of your days a little advice from me would be to keep on top of your work and don’t let it pile up, (tip away) was one of the sayings I was told by my friends on my course and it’s very true if you do little and often it really does take the stress and worry of assignments away.
Completing a childcare course can be a life-changing experience for individuals looking to pursue a career in childcare. It can provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to work professionally in the field of childcare.
During the course, we learn about child development, nutrition, safety, health, and communication strategies with parents and children. We also develop practical skills through internships or practical placements.
Through completing the course, you will feel more confident in your ability to provide quality care to children, communicate effectively with parents, and understand the developmental needs of children. You will also be prepared for career opportunities in a variety of childcare settings, including daycare centers, schools, hospitals, and community organisations.
Overall, completing a childcare course can be a significant step towards building a successful career in childcare, while positively impacting the lives of children and their families. I would highly recommend on you doing your Level 6 (Stage 2) here at North Connaught College.
